The COO will be a key leader, working closely with the CEO to ensure the organization's operational success and financial soundness. This role is pivotal in the management of the company's day-to-day operations, including the development and implementation of operational policies and strategies, financial management, and oversight of membership operations. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or advanced degree in a relevant field, at least 15 years of experience in operations and/or financial management, and a proven track record of integrity in these areas. Experience in a membership organization and a background in value-based health care or a willingness to learn about it are highly valued. Key responsibilities for the COO at the company include advancing operational innovation, particularly in the adoption of new technology tools, and leading the organization in seeking greater operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will also be involved in leadership and team development, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and will be the primary liaison for key operational functions such as the customer relations management system and human resources. The COO will be expected to be a strategic and analytical thinker, with strong decision-making skills, and to have excellent communication abilities to engage with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders. The role demands a self-starter who is comfortable in a relatively small organizational setting and is dedicated to the mission of the company.
