The Company Upserve is an established restaurant technology and payments platform entering a deliberate restart phase under private equity ownership. The company serves independent and multi-location full-service restaurants and operates across software, payments, and financial services. The business benefits from a meaningful installed base, a recognized market presence, and strong underlying platform potential. Upserve is now entering its next chapter: rebuilding the company with greater commercial discipline, sharper product and technology execution, and a clearer path to scalable growth and enterprise value creation. Role Overview This is not a maintenance role. We’re looking for a hands-on CEO to stabilize, rebuild, and scale the business—owning both strategy and execution across a multi-product platform. What You’ll Do You will lead Upserve’s transformation and be accountable for performance across the business: Set strategy & operating plan in partnership with the Board Build and lead the executive team across Revenue, Product, Tech, Finance, and Ops Rebuild the revenue engine (sales, marketing, CS, RevOps) to drive growth and retention Align product & technology to customer needs and commercial outcomes Improve platform reliability, execution, and customer experience Establish operating rigor with clear KPIs, cadence, and accountability Drive value creation in a high-accountability, PE-backed environment Why This Role Is Different True rebuild of an established platform with meaningful upside Multiple revenue levers (software, payments, financial services) Complex customer base (full-service restaurant operators) High-impact execution role with direct influence on enterprise value What We’re Looking For CEO / President / GM experience in SaaS, payments, FinTech, or vertical software Proven success in build, rebuild, or transformation environments Strong commercial instincts and GTM partnership Experience leading product + technology-led businesses Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure Private equity experience preferred Restaurant / hospitality experience is a strong plus Leadership Profile Builder mindset with strong execution focus High ownership and accountability Strategic, but highly practical Comfortable making decisions with imperfect data Credible with boards, investors, and customers First 90 Days Deep dive into customers, product, pipeline, and churn drivers Assess leadership team and organizational gaps Establish operating cadence and performance visibility Align GTM, product, and tech around a clear execution roadmap What Success Looks Like Strong, aligned leadership team Improved growth predictability and retention Better product execution and platform performance Clear operating system capable of scaling Measurable progress against value creation goals This is a high-impact CEO role to rebuild a proven platform, drive disciplined growth, and create meaningful enterprise value alongside Skyview Equity.
