Job Description

The company focuses on solving loneliness and disconnection by transforming virtual intimacy into mainstream experiences. SDG employs 1,200 professionals and digital nomads worldwide . Role Overview The Chief Product Officer will lead the creation of a new Virtual Intimacy product from the ground up. This includes defining product vision, roadmap, monetization strategies, and ensuring trust & safety standards while integrating AI-driven features. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & P&L: Define vision, roadmap, pricing, packages, budget, OKRs, and growth targets. Growth & Monetization: Drive subscription conversions, upsells (minute bundles, telephony, video), virtual gifts, and pricing experiments. Retention & Quality: Reduce churn, implement mechanics for “favorite companion” anchoring, and manage NPS/CSAT. Supply & Operations: Recruit/train companions via “Companion Academy,” manage scheduling, workforce, SLA, QA, and audits. Trust & Safety: Enforce content policies (ban on sexual/offline), manage moderation, incidents, and appeals. AI Integration: Roll out hybrid AI assistants to reduce costs while maintaining brand trust. Crisis Management: Handle PR/regulator cases, narrative management, and crisis communications. Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and build a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making. Candidate Requirements 8–12+ years in consumer subscription or marketplace products (wellness, communications, telemedicine, EdTech). Experience managing P&L and scaling supply operations (1k–10k+ providers). Expertise in Trust & Safety, UGC policies, and compliance with App Store/Google Play requirements. Strong background in A/B testing, pricing, and monetization. Experience implementing AI assistants/hybrids in consumer products. Crisis management experience with PR/regulators.
