Position Summary We are looking for a regional medical director to lead the new community‑based behavioral health center in Belpre, Ohio. In this role you will drive the development of processes and initiatives, oversee patient services, and work with a well‑established team of 21 child and adolescent psychiatrists to provide comprehensive mental health services statewide. Responsibilities • Lead the new community‑based behavioral health center in Belpre, Ohio. Oversee patient services to ensure superior outcomes and high‑quality, compassionate care. Manage a 24‑bed inpatient unit in Akron, consult as liaison to hospitalized patients, and supervise partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs in Akron and regional centers. Coordinate the 24/7 Psychiatric Intake Response Center in both Akron Children's Hospital emergency departments. Collaborate with medical students, residents, and faculty to provide educational and research opportunities. Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives across the organization. Qualifications MD or DO degree; board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; eligibility for an active Ohio medical license. Three years of relevant clinical experience is preferred.
