Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and physical education while ensuring the overall well-being of each child. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes early childhood development. Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies to encourage appropriate behavior. Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments, including standardized testing where applicable. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the learning experience through shared resources and strategies. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Proven experience working with children in Child Care or daycare setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in special education or early intervention programs is a plus. Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.
