Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to join our vibrant team, committed to nurturing and supporting the developmental needs of children. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and positive environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children in daycare, preschool, or home settings, ensuring their safety at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and emotional development Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices for infants and toddlers Support children with special needs by adapting activities and environments to meet individual requirements Maintain a clean, organized classroom or play area that encourages exploration and creativity Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Apply first aid procedures promptly when necessary and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities Proficiency in classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and engagement Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively and compassionately Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response during emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and children Prior experience in daycare settings, nannying, babysitting or classroom experience preferred Passion for caregiving combined with patience, creativity, and a lively approach to child engagement Join us to be part of a dedicated team focused on enriching young lives through nurturing care and educational excellence!
