Overview Join our dynamic team as a Chimney Sweep and Fireplace Contractor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial fireplaces. As a key member of our team, you will perform thorough inspections, cleanings, and maintenance to keep fireplaces operating safely and efficiently while providing expert advice on fireplace care and upgrades. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of chimneys, flues, and fireplaces to identify blockages, creosote buildup, or structural issues Perform safe and thorough cleaning procedures using industry-standard tools and techniques to remove soot, ash, and debris Identify potential hazards such as cracks, leaks, or obstructions and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance solutions Install, repair, or upgrade fireplace components including chimneys, venting systems, dampers, and caps Educate customers on proper fireplace operation, maintenance routines, and safety precautions to prevent fire hazards Maintain detailed records of inspections, cleaning procedures, repairs performed, and parts used for each job Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental regulations during all work activities Qualifications Proven experience in chimney sweeping or fireplace installation and maintenance is highly preferred Knowledge of chimney and venting system components, materials, and safety standards Ability to operate specialized cleaning tools such as rotary brushes, vacuums, and inspection cameras effectively Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality workmanship Excellent communication skills to explain technical information clearly to clients Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel locally for service calls Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including climbing ladders and working at heights Join us in delivering top-tier fireplace services that enhance safety and comfort for our customers!
