Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Wok Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional Chinese cooking techniques, particularly those used in wok preparation. Duties Prepare a variety of dishes using traditional Chinese wok cooking methods, ensuring high quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including all cooking equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings. Provide exceptional culinary experiences that meet customer expectations. Requirements Proven experience as a Wok Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, particularly wok cooking techniques. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
