Job Description:Community Christian School of Tallahassee, Inc.(CCS) is growing and has a full time Elementary School teaching position available for the 2026-2027 school year.We are looking for qualified, committed Christian candidates.The ideal candidate must have the ability to articulate a Biblical worldview and be a 21st Century educator, and wholeheartedly agree to and sign the Statement of Faith and agrees with our Community Covenant.Requirements: Clear evidence and attestation of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ- Regular attendance, current membership and clear involvement in a local, Biblically-centered church - Affirms the school's Statement of Faith without mental reservation.Commits to live according to the principles summarized within the school's Community Covenant - Proficient in integrating the Biblical worldview into instruction- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles- Incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences- Provide guidance and support to students in their personal and academic development- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress Experience: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)- Valid teaching certification/license in Florida and/or agree to work toward ACSI certification- Experience teaching Elementary students, preferred- Familiarity with higher education teaching methods and curriculum development- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies Note:This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.It is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, and qualifications required.CCS is an interdenominational school serving the Tallahassee area since 1977.We seek to provide students from Pre-K to 12th grade with a spiritual and educational environment that enables them to reach their full potential.These positions are full-time, salaried, exempt positions.CCS offers many benefits including Medical and Dental insurance, a retirement plan, professional development opportunities, tuition remission for enrolled students of school employees and year-round distribution of salary.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$38,636.00 - $42,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Work Location:In person.
