Job SummaryThe Chuck Boner position is a unique and engaging role that requires a dynamic individual to contribute to our team in a variety of ways.This position is essential for maintaining the overall functionality and atmosphere of our operations.The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, enthusiasm, and adaptability, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.Job Duties Cuts bones from standard cuts of meat such as chucks, hams, loins, plates, rounds, and shanks to prepare meat for packing and marketing, using knife and meat hook.Inserts knife in meat around bones to separate meat, ft, or tissue.Pulls and twists bones loose from meat.Cuts and trims such meat cuts as butts, hams, flanks, and shoulders to shape meat and remove fat and defects.May be designated according to cut of meat boned as Chuck Boner.Essential Tasks and Competencies:Bone Strip Workers are responsible for completing the following essential job functions:Changes clothes upon arrival to work putting on rubber boots, hair net, hardhat, gloves, insulated long coat, clean white lab coat and safety glasses.Retrieve appropriate work tools:knives, T handle hooks, steel and scabbard.Report to line.Pull meat product from conveyor belt using hook.Remove arm bone, pectoral and chuck short rib.Return meat cuts to conveyor belt.Aside waste ft into chute.Maintain cutting edge on knife with steel.Collaborate with team members to execute daily operational tasks.Assist in the planning and execution of events or projects as required.Maintain a positive and energetic environment that encourages teamwork and productivity.Engage with clients or customers to provide exceptional service and support.Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and communication as needed.Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as necessary.Experience Previous experience in a customer-facing role or team environment is preferred.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this position.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task completion is highly valued.This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact within our organization while developing their skills in a supportive environment.Must be 18 or older, legal to work in the United States.Must be able to speak English or Spanish.#INDIF Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $18.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Work Location:In person.
