We have an immediate opening for Civil Project Engineers based in our Sacramento office. Applicants shall have 15+ up to Principal-level years of experience in civil engineering design and have interest in site and public infrastructure design, sustainability, and development services. This position will lead and manage a wide variety of project types, striving to integrate design and develop projects from conceptual planning to coordination of project efforts and through to approvals of design and construction. Specific, current knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop projects from conceptual planning to coordination of project development through design, agency approvals, and construction. Perform code analysis and research on technical aspects of a project. Plan, organize, and coordinate with the project team. Interact with clients and agency staff to attain design and permit approvals for the vision of the project and technical solutions. Oversight and mentoring civil staff on the various professional and technical related efforts. Qualifications: Ability to lead a team on projects through design development, construction documents, and contract administration phases. Technical experience and understanding, especially with large-scale site development projects. Experience with fast-track, advanced-tech projects is a plus. Communication skills when working with clients, firm staff, and agency personnel. Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus. Licensure, or ability to be licensed, in Washington, Oregon, and/or California, is required. Salary Range: $125,000 to $165,000 Mackenzie will provide a reimbursement allowance for relocation to Portland, Oregon; Vancouver, Washington; Seattle, Washington; or Sacramento, California.
