Position Overview: Civil/Structural Engineer As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality design solutions and technical support across a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities Work within established project schedules and deadlines Review and apply relevant design criteria, codes, and standards Define project scope and clearly establish deliverables Design and analyze foundations for heavy equipment and structural systems Design and evaluate industrial buildings, including mill structures Develop fall protection systems in compliance with OSHA standards Perform structural modifications and upgrades to crane runways, including load capacity analysis and reinforcement design Conduct structural analysis using industry-standard software and methodologies Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (PE licensure not required) 3–5 years of experience applying civil/structural engineering principles Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong communication skills, including the ability to interface with clients regarding project status and deliverables Willingness to travel to client sites for meetings and data collection Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks Familiarity with STAAD or similar structural analysis software Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., Technical Report No. 13, CMAA, AIST TR-6, AISC) Experience working in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
