Then this maybe the position for you. The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Civilian Program Specialist, GG-0301-12 at Joint Personnel Recovery Agency in Fredericksburg, VA. Salary Range: $75,706 – $97,169 up to 20% telework possible This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007. Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period. Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest. Qualifications/Requirements The primary purpose of this position: To serve a s the civilian personnel liaison for the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency, performing the full range of recruitment, affirmative employment, manpower, and related civilian personnel management advisory services. U.S. Citizenships Required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. Drug Testing: This is a designated Drug Testing Position. Knowledge of civilian personnel management policies, processes, and techniq1ues sufficient to advise management and employees regarding rules, procedures, obligations, and entitlements; and Federal Human Resource affirmative employment, staffing, recruitment and placement, benefits, compensation and path, classification, and employee development principles, concepts, policies, and analytical techniques. Knowledge of the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS), Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), and Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS). Knowledge of analytical reasoning processes and ability to identify and project trends and propose alternative solutions to adverse trends. Skill in applying basic principles, provisions, laws, regulations, practices, and techniques in affirmative employment, staffing, recruitment and placement, benefits, compensation and pay, classification, and employee development; and in troubleshooting and resolving problems associated with providing comprehensive affirmative employment, staffing, recruitment and placement, benefits, compensation and pay, classification and employee development advisory services. Ability to interpret manpower documents and accurately connect personnel records to manpower and funding data elements.
