Job Description
We are seeking a local candidate for this role, and the position is located onsite downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Hours:8:00am-5:00pm Days:Monday-Friday Flexible WFH Monday and Friday Extended hours as needed during the week, and occasional weekends as needed for business needs APMEX is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to oversee all aspects of claims processing and resolution for our precious metals business.This position will be responsible for managing insurance claims, customer disputes, shipping discrepancies, and product quality issues while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and protecting company interests.The day in the life of a Claims Manager Manage and oversee the entire claims process from initial report through resolution Investigate shipping damage claims, lost package claims, and product discrepancy reports Coordinate with insurance carriers, shipping partners, and vendors to resolve claims efficiently Develop and implement claims processing procedures and best practices Analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend preventative measures Train and supervise claims processing staff Maintain detailed documentation and reporting on all claims activities Work closely with Customer Service, Logistics, Operations and Quality Assurance teams Ensure compliance with insurance policies and company procedures APMEX is a multibillion-dollar ecommerce company that is the leader in Precious Metals.Our employees love our values and culture.Our APMEX team is large enough to get the job done better than anyone else in the industry, while being small enough to listen to, and care, about our employees.Without their dedication, APMEX would not continue to be named the #1 Specialty eRetailer by Internet Retailer Magazine!
