Position: Claims Support Associate Location: Honolulu, HI Pay: $18/hour Experience 2 years of general office experience is required. Customer service or call center experience is preferred. Education A high school diploma or GED is required. A 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience is required. Type: Full-time; Contract Schedule: Day Shift, 7:30am to 4:00pm Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Claims Support Associate to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description Process incoming First Notice of Loss (FNOL) submissions received via email, fax, or postal mail. Enter claim information into the claims management system and upload supporting documents. Handle inbound claims-related calls, including new claim intakes and inquiries from insureds, claimants, medical providers, and agents. Manage inbound operator calls for FICOH and route them to the appropriate department or associate. Monitor the shared Outlook mailbox and route incoming faxes and emails to the correct claims associates. Prepare, scan, and validate incoming claims mail and inter-office documents, ensuring quality and accuracy. Perform additional administrative or support duties as assigned. Position Requirements Ability to type 40 to 45 words per minute. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, providers, and internal teams. Strong customer service orientation with a professional and friendly demeanor. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain a positive work environment. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. Accurate and efficient data entry skills. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt to change.
