Clam Farm Worker

Overview Local clam farm/ marine operation seeking a reliable, physically capable worker for outdoor shellfish farm and staging yard work.This role requires someone that is comfortable working on a boat and working in waste deep water.This role starts at 3 days a week but will progress to 5-6 days a week as we move into the spring/ summer season.Responsibilities Assist with the planting, harvesting, maintaining, and processing of clams in accordance with farm protocols.Building and assembling gear related to clam farming.Preparing equipment.Yard and work organization and clean up.Assisting with general clam farm preparation tasks.Experience Previous experience in commercial fishing, or outdoor work is helpful but not required.Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required.Benefits Performance based pay raises / overtime bonuses.Opportunity to learn new skills.Opportunity to work in a unique environment.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s):Are you able to commute to Northfield NJ?
