Class B CDL Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Dump Truck Driver to join our excavation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of large-scale projects, supporting various operations such as excavation, grading, and site development. Duties Operate Class B CDL dump trucks efficiently to deliver materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across multiple construction sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the dump truck to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning. Collaborate with site supervisors and equipment operators to coordinate material delivery schedules and site needs. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, maintenance needs, and safety checks in compliance with company policies. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, transportation regulations, and construction site procedures. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment maintenance. Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class B CDL license. Solid understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures. Ability to perform routine inspections and identify mechanical issues early. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and show a clean record and must also have a clean MVR (driving record) with no recent accidents, speeding tickets or major violations Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site supervisors.
