What You'll Do Provide driver education services to teens and adults in accordance with the State of Ohio Driver Training Program. Deliver instruction using the approved state curriculum, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student learning needs. Maintain appropriate classroom and in-vehicle behavior management, ensuring a safe and focused learning environment. Assess student progress and document performance accurately in Driver Training Logs; communicate updates to parents/guardians when applicable. Complete all required documentation, records, and reporting in a timely and accurate manner. Comply with all applicable motor vehicle laws and regulations. Report traffic citations, accidents, vehicle damage, or any incidents involving staff, students, or the public to a supervisor immediately. Refuel training vehicles, report maintenance concerns promptly, and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicles. Complete all required training and maintain current certifications as required. Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards. Collaborate effectively with instructors, office staff, and management to support student success and service quality. Prepare and submit paperwork and related documentation as directed. What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to successfully pass a required physical examination. Valid driver's license held for a minimum of five (5) years. Fewer than six (6) points on your driving record. Willingness and ability to successfully complete all required training to obtain licensure through the State of Ohio Driver Training Program. Strong commitment to safe, defensive driving practices. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Satisfactory pre-employment screening and ongoing compliance with random drug and alcohol testing. Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules and irregular hours as needed. Basic computer proficiency, or willingness to quickly develop job-related technology skills. Commitment to high-performance standards, including engagement, proficiency, and resilience. Maintains a criminal record that does not prohibit employment in a public school setting.
