Are You Houston’s Next Master Restomod Technician? Houston Classic Carport is not your typical shop. We are a premier Hot Rod Factory and Restomod facility specializing in breathing new life into muscle cars and classic vehicles. We are looking for a passionate, highly skilled Mechanic/Technician who lives for turning wrenches, solving complex mechanical puzzles, and delivering exceptional performance craftsmanship. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) Perform comprehensive, high-quality restoration and performance builds. Diagnose and repair classic vehicles, including extensive engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical work. Specialize in carburetors, A/C systems, and modern LS swaps. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools for electrical systems and powertrain components. Maintain a "never give up" attitude to resolve difficult mechanical issues. What We’re Looking For (Requirements) Proven 20+ years experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician with a strong, solid background in classic cars and hot rods. Deep expertise in engine, drivetrain, and suspension systems. Ability to work independently and manage your own bays. Must have your own tools. A meticulous eye for detail and commitment to quality.
