Responsibilities: Ensure that all compliance rules, regulations, and guidelines involving childcare licensure, CACFP and Head Start Performance Standards are implemented and followed, maintaining written documentation of such when require. Ensures documentation for child care licensing is submitted yearly. Monitors and updates staff listing for child care licensing. Monitors and ensures teaching staff are not placed in classrooms prior to approval from child care licensing. Supervises the hiring of teaching staff including, but not limited to notification of vacant positions; screening applicants; arranging and participating in preliminary and preparation of paperwork for hiring, as indicated.
