Duties Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care (buffing, waxing), laundry services, and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and appliances; assist with housekeeping management tasks when required. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and replenished as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client or resident requests promptly and professionally. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Support janitorial responsibilities in commercial or hospitality settings by managing waste disposal and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed. Qualifications Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; hotel or residential cleaning background is highly advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry operations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks efficiently and thoroughly. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, bend, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably. Basic familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies; certification in housekeeper management or commercial cleaning is a plus.
