Job Responsibilities Day-to-Day Duties – Housekeeping & Cleaning Specialist Receive Daily Schedule & Property Assignments Review homes scheduled for cleaning Coordinate with the team (if needed) or work independently Travel to Property Locations Arrive on time to collect necessary supplies Conduct quick exterior check (trash, entry, etc.) Initial Walkthrough of the Unit Assess condition Note any damages, missing items, or unusual messes Report issues before starting Remove Used Linens & Trash Strip beds and gather all towels, rugs, etc. Empty all trash bins and take out waste properly Clean and Sanitize the Entire Home Bathrooms: Scrub sinks, showers, tubs, toilets; clean mirrors and restock supplies Kitchen: Clean appliances, counters, sinks; sanitize all surfaces Living/Dining Areas: Dust furniture, clean surfaces, vacuum/mop floors Bedrooms: Dust, vacuum/mop, wipe surfaces Floors: Sweep, vacuum, mop as needed throughout Make Beds and Stage the Unit Use fresh linens and follow staging guidelines Arrange furniture, pillows, towels, and amenities as instructed Restock Supplies Check and replace items: paper towels, toilet paper, soap, coffee, etc. Final Quality Check Walk through the property with fresh eyes Ensure it meets company standards for cleanliness and presentation Report and Document Log completion of cleaning Report maintenance issues, missing items, or supply shortages Upload any before/after photos if required Prepare for Next Assignment Refresh supplies and tools Head to next property (if multiple per day) or wrap up for the day Qualifications Experience with short-term rentals or hospitality cleaning (preferred) Strong attention to detail and reliability Familiarity with cleaning products and safety procedures Great time management and the ability to follow systems A positive attitude and professional work ethic Benefits Paid Time-Off, Performance Bonus, Professional Development At Wilmington Vacation Homes , we believe that great accommodations are the foundation of a great vacation.
