Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. Conduct specialized floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to enhance appearance and safety. Assist with custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring spaces meet client expectations. Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to sustain operational efficiency. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and ensure timely completion of cleaning assignments. Maintain detailed records of completed work and report any issues or damages promptly for resolution. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or related fields such as facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is highly desirable. Prior experience with commercial or residential cleaning projects is preferred. Ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use.
