Company Description The School of Hard Knocks LLC is a social media brand and content agency with 13 million followers on social media. We provide interview-based mentorship and financial literacy advice for young professionals and entrepreneurs. Our ability to create viral content has allowed us to accept clients and consult on short-form content for businesses and personal brands. We post, edit, and strategize all short-form content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube to make your personal brand go viral. Role-Description This is a full-time remote role for a Client Social Media Account Manager who will be day-to-day reviewing the content that is posted to our clients social media accounts. Responsibilities will include providing quality control and revising the videos and captions for our client's posts, communicating with our editing team, fill out analytics reports, and building long-term relationships with clients to understand their short-form content needs. Our agency has systems in place to currently fulfil this role. Must-Have Qualifications Experience in content creation and knowledge of short-form video content creation Knowledge of social media platforms and experience in managing social media accounts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to revise grammatical errors in writing (You will be revising captions on videos and social media posts) Strong organizational and project management skills A self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely, coachable Preferable Qualifications Experience with Quality Control Experience in account management or client services Ability to understand client content needs and provide strategic recommendations Expectations Typical working hours for this position are 9am-5pm CST This position is remote, so a working computer is required for this position Fast, responsive communication during working hours is needed by all team-members Note from Hiring Manager: At the core of this position, you will be revising the videos and captions for our clients given to you from our editing team before they are sent to be posted on social media. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong understanding of what makes videos perform well on social media in order to make the best revisions possible to the videos. It helps if you have a strong love for video content. This is also a company that specializes in business and entrepreneurship content, so it helps to have a passion for those topics. Additionally, this is an entry-level position for a small, growing media company, so we are looking for someone who is passionate about content, hungry to work harder than the person next to them, and is looking for an opportunity to grow and be challenged in this field.
