Job Description
Manager Client Programs & Events New York City (Hybrid – 3 days in office, flexibility required for events) We’re partnering with a leading Am Law organization to find a Manager, Client Programs & Events to own the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact client experiences both in-person and virtual. In this role, you will lead a small team of direct reports, and we’re seeking someone with a few years of hands-on management experience. This is a highly visible role where you’ll be shaping how clients engage with the business through CLE seminars, webinars, client dinners, receptions, and strategic marketing events that directly support business development and relationship growth. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, Legal practice groups, and a global events team to deliver polished, best-in-class programming. What you’ll do: Lead end-to-end execution of client programs and events (including large-scale and CLE initiatives) Partner with business development teams, practice groups, and senior stakeholders to align events with strategy Manage all logistics—venues, vendors, contracts, budgets, and on-site execution Develop creative, strategic event concepts tied to business priorities Provide guidance to stakeholders throughout the full event lifecycle Track ROI, performance, and post-event insights Ensure MCLE compliance standards are met Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development Stay ahead of industry trends and event technology What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree required 7+ years of experience in a large law firm environment (required) Experience leading a small team of direct reports with a few years of hands-on management experience. Proven experience managing complex, high-profile client events Strong project management, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Experience with CRM systems (InterAction a plus) Flexibility to travel and adjust hours based on event needs This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic, hands-on events professionalwho thrives in a high-performance environment and enjoys creating exceptional client experiences that make an impact.
