About the Role We’re looking for a highly organized and responsive Client & Leasing Specialist to support day-to-day leasing, marketing, and operational workflows. This role is the communication and coordination hub of our leasing process—ensuring leads are handled quickly, listings stay accurate, and showings run smoothly. This is primarily a remote role with one required in-office day per week for hands-on operational tasks. Schedule & Availability 20–40 hours per week (based on workload and performance) Must maintain consistent daily availability for: Lead response Scheduling showings Tenant and owner communication Flexible hours outside of availability windows for task-based work 1 required in-office day per week Responsibilities Leasing & Lead Management Monitor and respond to inbound leads (AppFolio, Tenant Turner) Pre-screen and qualify prospective tenants Schedule showings for qualified applicants Maintain same-day or 24-hour response times Support follow-ups to drive leasing activity Showings Coordination Coordinate and schedule property tours Communicate clearly with prospects and team members Ensure properties are accessible and ready for showings Listings & Marketing Support Create and update rental listings in AppFolio Enter and verify property details (beds, baths, square footage, descriptions) Maintain accuracy across all platforms Update pricing and listing details as directed Onboarding New Properties Assist with new owner onboarding Gather required information and review intake forms Coordinate key collection and logging Ensure all data is properly entered into systems Tenant & Client Communication Respond to tenant and client inquiries via phone, email, and messaging Provide clear, professional communication Route maintenance requests and escalations appropriately Administrative & Operational Support Maintain accurate records in AppFolio Support the owner with administrative tasks Ensure communication standards are consistently met In-Office Responsibilities (1 Day/Week) Organize and track property keys Maintain office organization and supplies Handle light operational tasks (restocking, general upkeep) Support in-person administrative needs Performance Expectations Same-day or within 24-hour response times on all leads Accurate and up-to-date listings Efficient scheduling with minimal gaps Clear, professional communication with owners and tenants Strong ownership and follow-through on all tasks Qualifications Experience in property management, leasing, or admin support preferred Strong organization and multitasking skills Excellent communication (written and verbal) Comfortable with technology (AppFolio a plus) Ability to work independently while staying accountable Reliable and consistent availability What Success Looks Like Leads are responded to quickly and consistently Listings are accurate and complete Showings are scheduled efficiently Owners and tenants receive clear, timely communication The team isn’t chasing follow-ups or fixing missed details If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and want real responsibility in a growing real estate operation, we’d love to hear from you.
