Client Service Representative Groveway Pet Hospital Castro Valley, CA | Full-time At Groveway Pet Hospital, we’re more than a veterinary practice—we’re a trusted part of the community. We are seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) who enjoys working in a supportive, collaborative environment and is eager to develop their veterinary and customer skills alongside a welcoming, committed team. Schedule Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and assisting with scheduling Perform client check-in and check-out, including collecting patient information and processing payments Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories as needed Support doctors and technicians with patient care, treatments, and routine procedures Assist with vaccine appointments and basic patient handling Help with diagnostics, sample collection, and in-house laboratory work when needed Maintain accurate and timely medical records and client documentation Provide clear client education regarding treatments, estimates, and discharge instructions Assist with appointment scheduling, reminders, and managing daily workflow Support a variable caseload depending on seasonal and clinic needs About You 1–2 years of experience in a veterinary or client service role (CSR or Veterinary Assistant experience required) Experience in a small animal practice preferred (exotics experience a plus) Strong client service and communication skills with a compassionate, professional approach Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Self-starter with a “go-getter” attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $23-$27 per hour Supportive, close-knit culture with opportunities for learning and growth Why Join Groveway?
