Company Description Texas Direct Medical Care (TXMedicalCare.com) is a subscription-based clinic located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. We provide direct Family Medical and Urgent Care for members without the need for insurance. Our clinic offers unlimited visits, including tele-med and phone call visits, with no co-pays or deductibles. We prioritize same day or next day appointments, offering 30-60 minute visits available 24/7, including holidays. There are no restrictions on pre-existing conditions. Role Description This is a part-time (may be FT in future) on-site role as a Clinical Coordinator at Texas Direct Medical Care. Ability to learn is important and entry level opportunity for those with initiative. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient care, assisting Physician and Physician Assistant with primary and urgent care medicine, conducting research, administrative support, and supporting the overall patient experience at the clinic. Phlebotomy experience helpful, but we teach it as well. May have opportunity to learn x-ray technician skills. Qualifications Reliability, initiative, and ability to effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and medical staff Ability to learn is important and entry level opportunity, including lab draw skills (phlebotomy) Knowledge of medicine and medical terminology helpful but not required Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems helpful but not required Experience or quickly learn patient intake, vital signs, and documentation
