Job Title: Registered Nurse – Clinical Documentation Specialist Client: Healthcare Location: Remote Primary Office Address: Livingston, New Jersey Contract Duration: 06/01/2026 – 07/25/2026 (Extendable) Pay Rate: $58 - $62/hr Job Description: The Clinical Documentation Specialist will serve as a liaison between the Chief Medical Officer, Health Information Management Department, Inpatient Coders, Quality Officers, Coding Management, and Physicians to ensure accurate and complete clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities: Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to improve documentation quality Support coding accuracy and severity/risk adjustment initiatives Ensure documentation reflects appropriate clinical indicators and treatment plans Utilize EPIC CDI and Solventum encoder software effectively Requirements: Active NJ RN License or Compact RN License required at the time of submission Minimum 5 years of nursing experience Current Clinical Documentation Specialist experience required Critical Care experience required Experience with EPIC CDI and Solventum encoder software is mandatory Advanced understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology Preferred background in adult acute care including Med Surg, Critical Care, Emergency, or PACU CCDS Certification preferred Must pass a Clinical Competency Exam via Zoom prior to interview Additional Information: First-time travelers accepted Local and out-of-state candidates accepted Fully remote role Pride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k) retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
