Clinical Lab Scientist Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) to join our dynamic laboratory team. The posted compensation range of $52.04 - $77.42 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities Demonstrated experience with laboratory instrumentation and methodologies across various departments (e.g., Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology). Ability to work effectively in the Blood Bank Proficiency in performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Strong understanding of quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory safety protocols. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Job Requirements Minimum one year of experience in an acute care facility required. Bachelor's Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as evaluated by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS) required. A current Los Angeles County fire card is required.
