Job Type – Long Term Contract Location – Remote – Global and EST hours Requirements - GC holder or USC required Clinical Research Associate We are seeking an experienced and analytical professional to support resource forecasting and operational analytics within Clinical Development. This role focuses on analyzing clinical operations data, developing forecasting models and algorithms, creating executive-level presentations, and delivering actionable insights that support resource planning across clinical trials. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories through dashboards, reports, and presentations. This individual will work closely with Clinical Operations stakeholders to identify trends, improve forecasting accuracy, optimize resource planning, and support strategic decision-making across the drug development lifecycle. Experience within pharmaceutical or clinical research environments is strongly preferred, particularly in Clinical Operations and resource planning functions. Responsibilities: Support the development and continuous improvement of forecasting algorithms and models used to predict future resource demand across Clinical Development roles. Analyze clinical operations and resource planning data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and actionable insights. Clean, validate, and manage large datasets from SQL databases and other sources to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy. Investigate and identify data discrepancies, determine root causes of errors, and recommend corrective actions. Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations and executive-ready slide decks that clearly communicate analytical findings and business recommendations. Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools. Support portfolio resource demand reporting and ongoing operational analytics initiatives. Build and maintain forecasting models, formulas, and analytical frameworks to support resource planning decisions. Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Operations and other stakeholders to support ad hoc analyses and reporting requests. Explore opportunities to leverage AI and automation within Resource Management and forecasting processes. Support continuous process improvement initiatives related to reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency. Utilize advanced Excel functionality and SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate data efficiently. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, or Research Operations analytics. Strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle and how clinical trials are executed. Experience supporting resource forecasting, capacity planning, modeling, and analytics within a Clinical Development environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively. Proven ability to tell a clear and compelling story through data visualization and presentations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI. Experience working with SQL databases and writing SQL queries; complex query development is a plus. Ability to manage and analyze ad hoc data requests using Excel and other reporting tools. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data quality issues and troubleshoot errors independently. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments. Prior experience supporting Clinical Operations resource management or forecasting initiatives. Experience with Clinical Research Associate (CRA) resource planning. Knowledge of automation and process optimization techniques. Exposure to AI-enabled analytics or forecasting methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
