This full-time pharmacist role at a specialized diabetic medical supply mail order pharmacy offers an engaging opportunity to work with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps. Located in Chula Vista, CA, this contract position extends for at least 13 weeks and involves a mix of retail filling and mail order responsibilities. Location: Chula Vista, CA (2084 Otay Lake Road, 91913) Schedule: Pharmacy Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (flexibility to stay later if needed) Key Responsibilities: Accurately verify products, ensuring quality and compliance Fulfill boxed item orders including CGMs and insulin pumps with attention to detail Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians, clerks, and drivers to maintain smooth operations Utilize specialized program systems (Brightree) with comprehensive training provided Maintain excellent communication within the team to support efficient workflow Desired Qualifications: Current California State Pharmacist License in good standing (no negative history) Strong background in retail filling preferred, with mail order pharmacy experience highly valued Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment Ability to learn and adapt to a complex program system specific to the facility Additional Information: This pharmacy operates with a dedicated team including three pharmacists, five technicians, a clerk, and a driver, offering strong tech support so pharmacists are never working alone.
