Program SBCS' Children's Mental Health (CMH) program offers a comprehensive array of outpatient therapeutic services for children and adolescents. Services include (1) individual therapy, (2) family therapy, (3) crisis intervention, (4) case management, (5) group therapy and (6) linkage to additional SBCS and community resources. RESPONSIBILITIES Under the supervision of the CMH Program Director and Department Director, the Clinician is responsible for providing trauma-informed mental health services to SBCS’ clients - both in the schools and the community. The Clinician is responsible for providing a comprehensive array of therapeutic services, including crisis intervention, case management, individual and family therapeutic services, and linkage to community resources for children and adolescents. Services will be in keeping with agency goals, objectives, mission and style and provided within a team framework. Associates are responsible for working with the team in developing team goals and objectives and in meeting those goals and objectives. DUTIES Provide therapeutic, case management, and crisis intervention services at the office, contracted schools and in the community, to clients and their families. Conduct intakes, assessments, and treatment plans with clients. Complete all required case file documentation in a timely and routine fashion. Maintain client case files in accordance with County and Agency standards to include electronic medical records in County required databases. Communicate with other involved parties and agencies on a regular basis, including other resources available to clients. Prepare monthly statistics for required County and Agency reports. Adhere to agency and County client confidentiality, HIPAA, and mandated reporting policies. At
