Company OverviewParkside Cleaners is a family-owned business with over 45 years of dedicated service in South Lyon, MI.We take pride in providing high-quality dry cleaning and laundry services to our community, fostering a welcoming and professional environment.Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clothing Presser to join our team.In this vital role, you will ensure garments are pressed to perfection, maintaining our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.Your expertise will help deliver crisp, well-finished clothing that keeps our clients looking their best.Duties Operate pressing machines and equipment safely and efficiently to press garments to specified standards Inspect clothing for wrinkles, stains, or defects before pressing and after finishing Follow garment care instructions and company quality guidelines diligently Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Assist with basic laundry tasks as needed, including folding and packaging finished items Handle customer requests or special instructions with professionalism and attention to detail Ensure all garments are accurately labeled, sorted, and prepared for pickup or delivery Requirements Previous experience is not necessary for someone willing to learn.Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude Ability to operate pressing machines safely and follow safety protocols Basic math skills for handling cash transactions or inventory counts Experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision Join our team and be part of a trusted local business dedicated to excellence!
