JWP Manufacturing is now taking applications for Quality Inspectors / CMM Operators at its Rancho Cordova campus.JWP is an ISO 13485:2016 and AS9100D certified manufacture of Medical Device, Aerospace, and Defense components.The candidate will be performing a variety of Inspections Department duties.Job duties include: Performing In-Process, Receiving, Special Process, First Article, and Final Inspections of precision machined components and assemblies. Electronically document In-process, Final, and Receiving Inspections. Perform First Article Inspection using AS9102 format. Creating Non-Conformance reports. Operating Coordinate Measuring Machine. Communicate inspection results to the Manufacturing and Inspection personnel.Requirements Proficient at using measuring tools such as (not limited to) optical comparators, microscopes, surface roughness testers, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Knowledgeable in Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Zeiss Calypso CMM programming or operations experience is preferred but not required.Training will be provided to the right candidate. Have the ability to work without supervision. Able to adjust to priority changes within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and electronically.
