MADO Healthcare Old Town is looking for a CNA Supervisor! Summary: The CNA Supervisor’s primary job description is to provide constant supervision to CNAs who monitor and assist clients on their assigned floor. The CNA Supervisor works collaboratively with the Health Services Director in implementing daily tasks related to client care, cleanliness of client’s personal space and participation in activities of daily living. CNA Supervisors should have a good working knowledge of healthcare daily functions to be performed and monitored. A CNA Supervisor must have all of the following: A certified nursing assistant certificate High school diploma or equivalent Able to read, write and speak English Training, as prescribed by the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Mental Health, prior to assuming the duties of this position (or within the last 5 years) Free of a criminal background that is a Disqualifying Offense as defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health Must have Supervisory, Training and Scheduling experience. Essential Duties Regulatory Assist in ensuring state, federal, CARF and SMHRF guidelines are followed regarding client physical health Operations Manage day-to-day operations of activity of daily living to ensure client care and wellbeing Conduct monitoring of all floors to meet facility safety procedures and precautions Must attend scheduled clinical supervision Other duties as assigned Client Care Ensure all primary medical care for clients are addressed in a timely fashion Instruct staff to complete vital sign monitoring as assigned/needed Assist with collection of specimens under nurse’s discretion Ensure accurate and timely reports of any abnormal behaviors or medical issues to the appropriate staff Ensure that staff conduct thorough room checks to ensure client wellness and cleanliness Ensure CNA’s monitor and track clients’ progress of ADL’s adherence Supervisory Responsibilities Interview, hire, train, and supervise CNA staff Evaluate job performance and provide written and verbal feedback on areas of improvement Develop and manage CNA schedule to ensure staff to client ratios are met Address staff’s concerns and questions regarding daily functions of facility Track inventory of nursing supplies and provide supply list to ED every 2 weeks Conduct in-services to CNA staff to ensure proper implementation and monitoring of facility protocols and practices MADO Healthcare is and Equal Opportunity Employer HP 02/16/2026
