CNC Layout/Programmer

Job Summary: The role of this position is to create programs for the CNC Plasma and Flame-cutting machines utilizing part nesting software. The CNC Programmer position will grow and change as the department does. Essential Functions: Support all TTI/FSS Company Safety Policies to ensure they are followed, and personnel and property are kept safe Read technical drawings and guide in the set-up of machines in accordance with these blueprints Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly Program and oversee quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality Consider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly Troubleshoot and resolve problems with the machines as they arise Additional Duties: Additional responsibilities or duties may be required as needed in support of company operations. Teamwork: Teamwork is essential in this position and the Programmer must have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively with all departments, managers, and staff Actively promote company safety culture with the team Qualifications: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty above average and always represent the company in a professional manner.
