CNC Machine Operator

Overview Seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable CNC Machine Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high‑quality parts according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, has mechanical aptitude while possessing a commitment to quality workmanship with a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly Maintain accurate production records and follow all safety protocols Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve machining challenges Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with company standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, and materials Proficiency with precision measurement instruments Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G‑code/M‑code) is a plus Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periods Work Environment Hard Toe boots with ankle protection required Exposure to machinery, noise, and industrial materials Must meet high quality workmanship in an alcohol, tobacco and vape free environment Wage: $18.00 per hour to start based on experience or aptitude to include benefits after successful completion of 3 month introductory period.
