CNC Machine Operator

Cutting Edge Machining Solutions is looking for motivated machine operators but are willing to train on-site to become experienced CNC Swiss Operator. We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual able to work with a high level of attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player and having good communications skills are also essential skills for this position. This position is for WEEKEND SHIFT. Work 32 hours get paid for 40 with full-time benefits! Shift is Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Responsibilities Set up machines to start a production cycle under the direction of a supervisor or experienced machinist Control and adjust machine settings Test operation of machines Fix issues that might occur during the shift Inspect parts with precision measuring tools Load raw material into feeder Fix issues that might occur during shift Complete maintenance and repair logs Communicate with machinist and operators from other shifts Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Experience operating CNC machine such as lathes and milling machines a plus Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gages, etc.) Basic math skills required Benefit Conditions We pay 100% of medical, dental, vision for employee and 50 % for dependents. Benefits start the first day of the month following hire date.
