CNC Machinist

Lebanon, OH CNC Machining & Programming • Leadership & Management • Quality & Validation • Machining & Setup Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes — particularly Mazak equipment — and will play a key role in overseeing production operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes to produce precision machined components Oversee and coordinate all 2nd shift production activities to meet schedules and output targets Mentor and assist fellow machinists with CNC programming and machine operation Ensure all parts meet established quality standards through in-process and final inspection Perform tolerance analysis and review engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications Conduct part post-processing operations as required per job travelers and work orders Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency Document production data, nonconformances, and shift reports accurately Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate findings to supervision Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, specifically CNC lathe operation Demonstrated proficiency programming and operating Mazak CNC lathes Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment Proven ability to hold tight tolerances in a production environment Preferred Experience in a supervisory or lead machinist capacity Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality management systems Knowledge of part post-processing methods (deburring, finishing, etc.) Associate's degree or vocational certification in Machining Technology or related field #Modernmachiningsolutions $35.00 Posted today
