Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWith assignments from the Machine Shop Team Leader, installs proper tooling and makes necessary adjustments to tooling and equipment to produce a safe, quality product meeting all specified standards. Produces specified product from set-up. Makes minor adjustments and corrections to equipment to achieve required results. Other essential job functions After initial set-up or change-over of equipment and/or tooling, makes adjustments to keep equipment producing acceptable product. (Notifies Team Leader for major adjustments or non-conformance concerns.) Makes sure all safety, quality, and productivity requirements are met. (Notifies Team Leader for corrections.) After any adjustments to tooling, equipment, gages, and/or fixtures using proper devices, inspects and/or tests product for compliance to safety, quality, and productivity requirements. If proper adjustments cannot be made, notifies Team Leader for corrective action. After all requirements of set-up and adjustments are met, the operator produces the desired product efficiently. Notifies Team Leader of any procedures that cannot be properly performed. Maintains proper housekeeping and workplace environment. Performs other duties as assigned
