About the Role Join a precision-focused team where your craftsmanship directly impacts the quality of complex aerospace components. As a CNC Precision Machinist, you will leverage your technical expertise to transform raw materials into high-tolerance parts, ensuring every piece meets rigorous engineering standards. Responsibilities Independently execute the setup and operation of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling centers to achieve production goals. Translate complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings into finished components with high dimensional accuracy. Optimize machine performance by adjusting offsets and refining G-code/M-code programs directly at the controller. Ensure product integrity by utilizing advanced metrology tools, including micrometers and indicators, for in-process quality verification. Drive operational efficiency by performing routine equipment maintenance and proactive troubleshooting. Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace that promotes safety and workflow optimization. Qualifications Required Skills Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting blueprints and working with tight tolerances. Strong command of shop mathematics and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Proven ability to utilize precision measuring instruments for quality control. Experience with CNC tooling and setup procedures. Preferred Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC milling environments. Advanced technical knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis machining processes. Familiarity with industry-standard controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas. Experience with CAM software and manual CNC programming.
