What you’ll lead End-to-end CNC programming, setup, and operation for precision mold components using mills, lathes, routers, and EDM equipment. Translation of CAD models/blueprints into toolpaths; verification of offsets, tooling, and fixtures. In-process inspection and final quality checks with calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools. Problem-solving and routine maintenance to sustain uptime and part quality. Collaboration with engineering and production to improve cycle times, surface finishes, and repeatability. Documentation of production activities and adherence to safety and 5S standards. Support for tool/die/mold setups and repairs; contribution to continuous improvement initiatives. What you’ll bring High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational CNC training preferred. 5+ years of CNC experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated tight-tolerance machining capability and strong mechanical troubleshooting. Clear communication, detail orientation, and the ability to excel both independently and on a team. Physical and workplace expectations Standing for extended periods; exposure to typical shop noise and dust. Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred capabilities Advanced blueprint reading; precision measurement proficiency. Experience with G-code/M-code; familiarity with CAD/CAM platforms.
