Job Description
Manko Window Systems in Aurora, CO is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to support production through both programming and hands-on machine operation.This hybrid role works in both office and shop environments and is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing CNC programs as well as setting up, running, and monitoring machines to produce high-quality work.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable balancing technical programming with on-the-floor production responsibilities.Key Responsibilities Programming & Technical Duties Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs for multiple machine types (Denver Advance, Forvet Francesca, Flat Edgers) Use AutoCAD software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements Customize programs to meet specific production and client needs Identify potential issues with work orders and escalate as needed Determine tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting depths based on materials Monitor and optimize machine settings to improve efficiency while maintaining quality Maintain records of job specifications, materials, production time, and machine settings Train and support operators on proper machine and program use Machine Operation & Production Load machines with materials and select correct programs for each job Set up machines according to drawings and specifications Inspect materials before and after machining to ensure accuracy and quality Label, stage, and organize finished parts Perform routine machine maintenance such as lubrication, bit changes, and cleaning Maintain production and quality logs Ensure all work meets measurement and specification requirements Quality & Safety Perform quality assurance checks throughout production Verify measurements using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards Troubleshoot machine or production issues as they arise Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in CNC operations, programming, and manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong mathematical skills including fractions, decimals, and conversions Mechanical troubleshooting ability Ability to read a tape measure accurately Ability to lift materials up to 75 lbs Preferred Qualifications Associate degree, vocational training, or equivalent technical experience Experience with AutoCAD programming software Experience using precision measuring instruments Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Independent problem-solving ability Strong technical and computer skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Solid communication skills Benefits PAID Single Health and Dental Coverage (available after 60 days of employment).Other plans also available PAID Life Insurance Affordable Vision and AFLAC opportunities 401k & Profit Sharing (available after 6 months of employment) PAID Holidays Vacation Pay Paid weekly Job Type Full-time Monday - Friday Pay $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours:40 - 50 per week Pay:$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
