Job Title: CNC SWISS Machinist Location: Albany OR Salary range: $22 to $ 36 per hour, plus $1 shift differential Weekend Shift (Fri-Sun): 6:00am - 6:30pm Precinmac is a leading diversified manufacturer of high-tolerance precision machined components and assemblies. Job Summary: Under limited supervision, the CNC Machinist will set up production jobs on CNC mills/lathes in conformance with customer blueprints. This role involves documenting completed processes for transfer to production and defining the measurements of all critical features of produced parts. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines, manual mills, lathes, and grinders. Machine parts to customer specifications from blueprints. Write and edit programs at the machine controller using G Code. Design and manufacture fixturing. Assist operators in setup, tooling, and troubleshooting. Continually improve cycle times, processes, setup, and tooling. Provide input to estimators on machine run times, fixturing, and tooling requirements. Verify conformance to dimensions, alignments, and clearance of finished parts. Develop programs for machines based on solid models and drawings using Master Cam. Work closely with NPI teams to develop methods for manufacturing of designs.
