Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, showcasing excellent knife skills and culinary techniques Assist in menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing, and nutritious meal options Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support food preparation activities for catering events or restaurant service, including portioning and plating Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality food service in a timely manner Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items based on culinary trends and guest preferences Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry or restaurant environments Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Previous fine dining or restaurant experience preferred to elevate guest satisfaction Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food service and presentation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour Work Location: In person
