Job Description
The Cocktail Server is responsible for taking food and beverage orders; courteously and efficiently serving food and beverages to Guests in our Restaurant and collecting payments. Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing "Can Do" attitude and genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations. We are looking for a candidate with an open and flexible schedule, capable of working two night shifts and available to assist on event days and the day prior as needed. Compensation: $19.00 an hour Benefits Vacation, Holiday, and Sick pay Medical/Dental/Pension applicable to the CBA Hotel Room Discount Free Parking 401(k) - 4% Match Discount programs Education Assistance Program Shoes for Crews Commuter Benefits Meal provided Discount rates for travel such as car rental, theme parks, and much more Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate Performs other duties as required to provide "Can Do" attitude and genuine hospitality Provides food and beverage service to guests Sets up lounge tables with clean menus, table tents and candles Provides guest with overview of menu and beverage choices Takes guests' food and beverage order - provides explanation of menu and upsells Consolidates and picks up food and beverages which have been ordered. Ensures that all necessary/appropriate condiments are served with the appropriate dishes Clears cocktail tables throughout the dining
