JOB Minimum Hiring Salary is $31,200.00 (annually)This position plays a key role in supporting the college’s enrollment strategy through recruitment activities and community outreach events, including weekly visits to Duplin County Schools. The College Recruiter will assist prospective and current students, as well as community members, in connecting with the college and accessing available resources. Additionally, the recruiter will actively seek out and participate in community recruitment opportunities to raise awareness about James Sprunt Community College in our service area. This position will report to the Director of High School Programs. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES This list is meant to be representative, not exhaustive. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities the ability to perform the essential functions.Develop a recruitment plan that includes a schedule of recruiting locations and campus tours.Establish and maintain positive relationships with high school guidance counselors, community partners, and other officers.Market and promote class offerings, events, and activities both internally and externally to raise awareness of college offerings among all target demographic groups.Assist in the preparation and execution of all on-campus recruiting events.Represent the college at community events, such as open houses and career fairs, and conduct one-on-one meetings.Conduct scheduled and as-needed site tours for prospective students, families, and partners.Provide information about admission requirements and program benefits to prospective students, partners, and businesses.Discuss programs and services available at the college with interested students and their families.Participate in information sessions to greet and welcome potential students to JSCC.Build and maintain a Client Relationship Management (CRM) database. This includes tracking opportunities, updating project information and status, and maintaining records and contacts generated from outreach.Maintain contact with interested students using all available communication tools to ensure completion of their applications and to increase the yield of enrolled students.Complete and submit required materials promptly, such as weekly reports, contact information, and follow-up requests.Perform other professional or job-related duties as assigned, which may include processing admission applications and transcripts.
