Job Description
Job Title: Collision Center Mechanic Department: Collision Center Reports To: Collision Center Director and Service Operations Director Job Status: Full-Time, Exempt Job Summary: Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall is seeking a skilled Collision Center Mechanic to join our team. As a Collision Center Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of automotive collision repair services. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional automotive repair services. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Repair: Perform a wide range of automotive mechanical repairs as it relates to vehicle collision repairs, including cooling systems, air conditioning/heater, electrical, engine/transmission, exhaust, emission, wheel mount/balance, steering, restraint systems, suspension, alignment, programming, calibrations, ADAS, etc. Diagnostic Skills: Accurately diagnose and assess the extent of damage on vehicles involved in collisions and provide detailed repair plans. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and follow manufacturer specifications, delivering high-quality workmanship. Efficiency: Complete repairs in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding set productivity and efficiency goals. Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, follow OSHA safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Parts Management: Identify and order necessary parts and materials for collision repairs, maintaining an accurate inventory. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on repair progress and addressing any concerns or questions. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other Collision Center team members, including technicians, painters, and estimators, to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal repair outcomes.
