Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team.In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness across various facilities.This position offers a vital service that directly impacts the overall impression and safety of our clients' premises.Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are spotless and sanitized according to established protocols Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines to the appropriate personnel Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials Support additional janitorial duties as needed to meet the specific requirements of each facility Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with custodial responsibilities Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety standards Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleanliness standards are met consistently Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods Good communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation accurately Requirements Have reliable transportation Be fluent in English Pass background check Understand 1099 subcontracting work Prior commercial cleaning experience preferred Be dependable and detail-oriented Carry or be willing to obtain general liability insurance (Peggy's Cleaning Service works with a vendor that gives the lowest price per month Join us in creating clean, safe, and inviting environments!
